Membership Engagement and Marketing Executive

Inspired are proud to partner with ALPSP - the international trade association supporting not-for-profit publishers of scholarly and professional content - to support them on the search for a Membership Engagement and Marketing Executive, with responsibility for planning and delivering marketing and communication of ALPSP to its members, and the wider scholarly and professional publishing community.

This is a lovely role that will see you join a small and incredibly supportive team, as well as working closely with the Membership and Marketing Committee. In this role, you'll develop and manage campaigns, coordinate newsletters, oversee social media, and ensure the website is always fresh and up-to-date. You'll collaborate with various teams to produce marketing materials, support membership growth, and promote key events like the Annual ALPSP Conference.

What we're looking for:

  • A marketing qualification or equivalent experience in a marketing and communications role
  • Working proficiency of email marketing tools like Mailchimp
  • Either experience or a genuine interest in working for a membership organization, as well as the scholarly and professional publishing landscape is desirable
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • Tech-savviness and a keen eye for detail
  • Willingness to travel and represent ALPSP at major events

The role will be fully home-based but with the requirement to attend a few key events in person during the year.
