Production Controller

£27,008 per annum based on the full time equivalent of £33,760 per annum

Part time, 32 hours, 4 days a week

Fixed Term Contract for 22 months

Site (3 days per week) and home based

We are looking for a technically skilled Production Controller to produce around 15 titles a year for the Gallery’s Publishing Programme, to schedule, specification and budget. Reporting to the Publishing Manager, the post holder is also responsible for advising on, and production of paper product.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience of producing illustrated publications, a strong understanding of print and production processes, including thorough technical knowledge of all aspects of colour reproduction and printing; as well as experience in using spreadsheets to create, maintain and update budgets. The post-holder must be able to work quickly and accurately with meticulous attention to detail, demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be able to work calmly under pressure to meet deadlines.
