Senior International Rights Executive

Priddy Books and Neon Squid are looking for an International Senior Rights Executive to help sell co-editions and translation rights of their best-selling, award-winning board, novelty and illustrated non-fiction titles to publishers around the world. 

Working closely with the International Rights Manager, you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently delivering sales of Priddy Books and Neon Squid in the Nordic countries, Central and Eastern Europe, and Spanish and Portuguese language territories worldwide.

As well as your sales responsibilities, you will be directly responsible for coordinating and preparing sales material for bookfairs as well as liaising with Production to organise co-edition schedules and prices. 

To thrive in this role, you will need to have previous experience selling co-editions in a busy environment, be able to work independently with exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills. 

You will also have great attention to detail, be customer-focused and passionate about international children’s publishing markets.

Other essential skills:

Fluent written and spoken English

Familiar with MS Office, especially Excel, Google Workspace Applications, eg. GMail and Drive, and publishing database software, eg. Biblio

Desirable skills:

Knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Central and Eastern European languages.

Salary starting from: £32,000, depending on experience

This is a full time, permanent role, partly based in our offices near Kings Cross, London, and partly working from home. International travel will be required (3-4 sales trips per year to designated territories and attendance at international bookfairs).
