New Business Account Executive

An innovative education focused subscription agency based in Oxford is seeking to recruit a New Business Account Executive to build new customer relationships across North America and Southern Europe in order to maximise subscriptions and renewals for high-quality online educational resources. This role is based in the company's Oxford office amongst a friendly and supportive team, and offers a competitive salary package.

As New Business Account Executive you will be responsible for growing and managing a range of educational accounts. Key customers will include those in the Schools sector, where, as New Business Account Executive, you will be in regular contact (via email and telephone) with school librarians, IB coordinators, and drama teachers for instance, engaging with them and encouraging their use of prestigious e-resources available via an online subscription service. This role will be crucial in maintaining and developing strong relationships with these customers and ensuring repeat subscriptions.

The successful candidate will ideally have some prior sales experience, or of working in a customer focused role, ideally within the education and/or academic publishing space or a related sector, and will have a collaborative and driven approach to work. Top-notch communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential as well as the ability to be extremely organised and work with a busy and varied workload. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and confident using the phone to develop strong customer relationships, and hold a great enthusiasm to achieve success in a target driven role.
