Online Project Manager - Peer Review

We're working on a fantastic opportunity for a London based leading publisher of books, journals and digital products for the academic, STM and educational markets is now seeking an Online Project Manager to join their Editorial Journals Department to implement and manage their web-based submission and peer review services.

The core function of this role is to roll out ScholarOne Manuscripts, as well as other peer review platforms to an agreed number of journals, working within budgets, so candidates will need to have a solid understanding of the peer review workflow and online based platforms.

Working closely with the editorial teams and external publishing partners, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing existing processes as well as identifying improvements which can be made after determining requirements of internal teams as well as external stakeholders. Communication will be key for this role as the Online Project Manager will be liaising with a range of stakeholders to handle any queries and offer support where needed and developing metrics to track team progress to measure success. There is some line management with this position across an Editorial Assistants and an Assistant Editor, setting their objectives and reviewing their performance.
