Operations Manager

Fantastic opportunity for someone currently in a Stock Control or Sales Operations in publishing looking for a step-up or a new challenge!

Our client, a leading illustrated publisher is looking for a Operations Manager to join their team and work in collaboration with the Inventory Manager. Reporting into the Director of Finance & Operations, this is a key position in a growing and busy department. You will be responsible for all stock control liaising closely with the Warehouse as well as across the internal Production, Marketing and Sales teams. Key responsibilities include:

·Manage stock - reporting and analysis
·Advise price changes
·Dues releases and Embargoes
·Report damages and other complaints
·Customer service
·Assist in office operations
·Assist in sales team customer service

The successful candidate will have previous stock control/inventory experience. Prior experience within a publishing role is preferable whilst excellent administrative skills are essential. You will need to be highly numerate, with good Excel skills and the ability to effectively analyse data. You need to be a top rate communicator as this role will see you in regular contact with internal and external contacts - as well as regular attendance at company publishing meetings.
