Operations Manager - Parental leave

An award-winning independent and innovative publisher of children's books is looking to appoint an Operations Manager for 15 months to cover parental leave. This is a senior and key position in the Operation services department reporting to the Director of Operations.

This is a great opportunity for candidates who are available from October and have experience within a publishing environment, who are familiar with the operation processes to deliver great quality books on time.

Key responsibilities:

• Inventory and stock management, working with the sales team to direct delivery requests, fulfilment requirements and bookings.
• Collection and circulation of stock reports , running weekly stock reports
• Shipping and freight
• Day to day management of sales accounts and distributors ensuring stock needs are met.
• Data management using Biblio

The ideal candidate for this role needs to be resilient and adaptable along with having excellent organisational skills with a fantastic eye for detail, strong numeracy and a collaborative approach.
