Operations Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for an interesting new challenge? Our client, a large and well respected professional publisher, based in West London and renowned for publishing cutting-edge reports supporting the needs of UK businesses, is looking to fill an Operations Project Manager vacancy. This is a critical role, responsible for working cross functionally to operationalise new services, and communicate services and processes around the business.

The Operations Project Manager will be responsible for promoting services and projects internally - maintaining the services framework and any accompanying documentation which defines the service. As part of this role, the Operations Project Manager will support sector experts to prepare and submit bids and proposals by helping shape opportunities into proposals and developing the project, including assessment of resource and schedule to deliver in order to secure private contracts as well as government funding.

This is a cross functional, collaborative role and key relationships will be with sales and engagement teams to help define projects with both existing and improved services across a range of sectors. The ideal candidate will be highly commercial with extensive experience in Project Management, excellent communication skills, a strong financial awareness with understanding of costs, profit and risk and proven problem solving skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive candidate looking to work closely and collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders and businesses.
