We have an exciting fixed-term maternity cover role available for an innovative and experienced Communications Director to lead the marketing and publicity teams.
This is a dynamic time of change and growth for us. You’ll design and lead our Comms strategy, across our four publishing hubs, and grow our lists and brands through entrepreneurial thinking.
We’re looking for someone who can get our books to the widest possible audience and is always looking to drive demand through high-impact campaigns, across events, print, broadcast, online, audio and brand partnerships.
You will also have demonstrable leadership and decision-making skills and you’ll be an exceptional communicator. This role will suit a team-player who is able to manage with sensitivity and conviction. Above all you will be passionate about what you do; full of ideas and someone who isn’t afraid of doing things differently.
As part of the senior leadership team, you’ll be the voice of Ebury within Penguin Random House and externally, from your input on new book acquisitions and cover designs, to growth plans for our flagship authors.
Whether you have a background in publishing or not, it’s critical that you have a passion for books, a track record of standout campaigns, and that you always have an eye on the bigger picture.
