Key Account Manager, Children's

Our International Sales team are looking for an individual to join them as Key Account Manager covering the Middle East, Pakistan and South Africa region. As a Key Account Manager, you will implement an ambitious sales strategy and uncover new opportunities for growth throughout the Middle East, Pakistan and South Africa for our Children’s and Educational business.

You will take the lead on developing Children’s and Educational sales in the region, manage key relationships, maximise turnover and create bold, ambitious growth strategies across this key territory.

Relationships are at the core of this role, working closely with the International Sales Manager & the Children’s International Sales Director, you will be a crucial point of contact for the wider international sales and operations teams, key retailers and our publishing colleagues within the Children’s division.

You will work collaboratively with PRH Children’s division and other internal account managers to proactively drive sales opportunities, connect our customers with our authors, brand and books.

You will be an experienced Key Account Manager or similar, with proven customer relationships and accounts experience ideally within a creative environment. Having direct experience working with international markets will be advantageous and a genuine interest in Children’s books and sales is important.

You will have a keen focus on the commercial side of the business, and your sense of adventure means you are always thinking of creative ways to make our successes even bigger and on a global scale.

We are looking for someone with strong personal organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and use initiative.

You’ll be reporting into the International Sales Manager and work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders internally and externally, so being able to collaborate, persuade and communicate confidently will drive your success in this role.

You will regularly share product information with our wider sales team, report back on the market to the wider team so evident analytical ability is important.

For this role, you will be expected work some days from home some days from our office in London, Pimlico and Nine Elms. You will be expected to travel to market 3-4 times a year, averaging about 6-7 weeks a year of travel.

Salary: up to £37,300 depending on how skills and experience align to the role
