Rights Executive

We are looking for a new Rights Executive, selling rights for the Adult divisions of Penguin Random House.

Primary responsibilities will include the sale of domestic rights, including serial, audio, reprint and large print. In addition, you will be responsible for selling translation rights across a number of sub-agented territories.

You'll be developing and consolidating new and existing business partnerships, maximising rights sales turnover across our portfolio. You’ll work closely with the publishing divisions, building excellent relationships with internal departments such as Publicity, Editorial and Contracts as well as externally with domestic and international clients. You'll be comfortable working off your own initiative in a busy team.

We're looking for someone who is an avid reader, has negotiation experience, a flair for selling and excellent communication skills.

We are currently working remotely, but this role will transition back into our Vauxhall Bridge Road office in London when possible.

Please apply with a cover letter and CV by 5th November.
