Senior Production Controller, Ebury

We are on the search for a Senior Production Controller to join our Ebury Production team on a 12-month FTC.

Ebury is home to unique, bestselling authors with outstanding content and global reach, including Yotam Ottolenghi, Charlie Mackesy, Glennon Doyle, Fearne Cotton, Rochelle Humes and Stacey Solomon.

As our Senior Production Controller, you will be responsible for delivering front list titles across Ebury’s Cookery and Creative Gift Publishing, Personal Development, Popular Psychology, Fitness and Health, and in various formats.

You’ll need proven experience of both mono and colour printing, as well as a range of pre-press and digital workflows. You’ll work closely and collaboratively with internal teams across Editorial, Design, Sales, Inventory, Finance as well as external suppliers, to identify and implement solutions for manufacturing, costing, and scheduling challenges.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be comfortable with prioritising and managing a busy workload, with a track record of successfully delivering to deadlines while meeting the expectations of multiple stakeholders. You’ll have excellent attention to detail, a passion for producing high-quality books and will be able to demonstrate a calm, positive and flexible approach to your work – even when you’re under pressure. You’ll be a team player but equally happy to work independently on your own initiative.

Whilst this is a demanding role, it’s also an incredibly rewarding one and we welcome applications from candidates with production experience and a passion for books.

Interviews for this role will be held virtually. Please apply with a CV and cover letter by Sunday 5th December.
