Key Account Executive

Founded in 1924 and with over 500 English titles in print, Prestel is one of the world's leading publishers in the fields of art, architecture, photography, design, fashion, food and drink, and children’s books. The company has its headquarters in Munich and offices in London. Prestel is currently seeking a Key Account Executive to look after the company’s direct sales to UK house accounts.

Based in its London office, the Key Account Executive will look after existing customers and proactively seek new business and special sales opportunities. They will provide new title presentations in the form of a mixture of personal visits and virtual sales calls and follow up with new title spreadsheets, the latest product information, sales materials and publicity updates to Prestel’s major customers.

The Key Account Executive will build and maintain robust business relationships and meet mutually agreed sales targets. They will provide market and individual client feedback, handle key account trade promotions and liaise with our distributor on all issues relating to key accounts.

Some knowledge of illustrated non-fiction and children’s book publishing would be helpful. At least two years’ experience in book sales representation is required.

Working with the Vice-President and the Sales & Marketing Manager to maximise the sales of Prestel’s beautiful books, this is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious sales executive to further their career in the illustrated non-fiction sector.
