Primary Education Content Creator

Are you a Primary school teacher looking to use your experience in an innovative way? A forward-thinking, digital Education company based in London is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Primary Education Content Creator to help with the ongoing creation and management of the educational content. This is a varied, and critical role in a small, but growing and ambitious team.

You will use your experience as a primary teacher, specialist subject knowledge to create lesson plans and associated classroom resources for teachers and children. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the design and creation of new content, resources and subjects;
  • Ensure the continuing quality and usefulness of computing subject content;
  • Answer educational and resource queries from customers across all subject areas;
  • Regularly review existing content across all subjects to ensure it is still appropriate and current;
  • Assisting in the organisation and smooth running of video filming sessions;
  • Occasionally write and post extracts from new content on relevant social media sites;
  • Keep abreast with developments in educational thinking;
  • Other ad-hoc Primary product development tasks.

The successful candidate will have experience of teaching Computing in a Primary school, and be up-to-date with modern approaches to education. You will have the creativity to produce engaging resources for teachers and children, and the eye for detail required in any content publishing role of this nature. You will be a strong team player, with outstanding communication and organisational skills, and comfortable working to tight deadlines. A can-do attitude, willingness to learn and an interest in digital will all be key in this role.
