Would you like to work for one of the country’s leading charities and play a key part in the production team? We have a lovely temporary role for at least 8-10 weeks to project manage a range of highly interesting ongoing production projects where you will oversee the print, merchandise and other production items for the organisation, from brief, design through to production and delivery. These could be complex orders for the organisation’s shops, campaigns or for events.
The Print Production Manager will be the linchpin between the internal stakeholders and external suppliers; you will therefore need to be highly organised and an effective communicator. This role will not involve people management.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing all print projects from brief through design, to delivery
- Involvement in all projects where there is a print element, offering advice and expertise
- Managing the production and logistics of unique, and multiple itemed projects
- Obtaining production costs and looking for creative, cost effective solutions on projects
- Managing reprints of past artworks
- Scope briefs to a level of detail that enables the designers and copy-writers to pick up
You will have:
- A solid understanding and experience of all print processes, budget control and arranging delivery logistics
- Experience within the print industry with the ability to negotiate and troubleshoot
- A knowledge of publishing creative processes
- Experience of working cross-divisionally and with external suppliers
