Product Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Digital Product Manager to join a world renowned educational publisher where you'll work cross-functionally to deliver a range of digital education products and services. The role offers an excellent salary and benefits package, and hybrid working (ideally 1-2 days to be spent per week in the Oxford office but if that's problematic let us know what works for you).

As Digital Product Manager your main remit will be to transform and develop digital products, where you will be responsible for driving the vision, outcomes, and strategy for your product area - delivering exceptional customer experience, while balancing the requirements of key stakeholders, technical limitations, and user experience best practice. You will work closely with users (teachers, students, parents), business stakeholders, analytics and UX to form the basis for your product requirements, roadmaps, and strategies. Responsibilities will include (amongst others):

  • Ensure the team & platform are focused on agreed KPIs and objectives
  • Capture, refine and deliver requirements to drive the business strategy, working closely with UX to agree design and content wireframes
  • Work with the internal teams and third parties to plan and prioritise product feature backlog and development, along with planning product releases
  • Develop key relationships across the business and meet regularly with stakeholders to manage product lifecycle, ensure their requirements are considered and that they are up to date on product enhancements

The ideal Digital Product Manager will have solid digital product management experience with proven success in defining and delivering successful digital products. You will possess the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and initiatives, and have an understanding of product design and user experience combined with sufficient technical understanding to inform and prioritise technology development decisions. Although not essential, experience of educational product development as well as knowledge of the UK schools market, digital learning and/or the EdTech landscape would be highly valuable, as well as insight into current classroom needs of teachers and learners. Closing date for applications: 22nd August 2022 (early applications may be prioritised).
