Product Platform Manager

We have an exciting opportunity of "Product Platform Manager" to join a leading global educational publisher! This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits, with flexibility for a hybrid working pattern with 2 days per week in the Oxford office (if that's problematic, let us know what works for you).

The Product Platform Manager will be responsible for ensuring the relevant insight data from the customer and running of the platform is available to aid informed decision making. You will be a subject matter expert for ELT platforms and services, including content creation tools, being a first port of call for the business on technical platform and service questions. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Work collaboratively internally to identify and manage continuous improvement requests.
  • Propose, gather and analyse requirements and assess solutions.
  • Gather and analyse business needs and use data to make recommendations.
  • Define and implement non-functional requirements of the platforms.
  • Contribute to customer lifecycle support by resolving escalations.

The Product Platform Manager will ideally have prior experience of managing a platform or service, and of working in a matrix environment. You'll have excellent communication and be confident managing third party and internal stakeholder relationships. A basic understanding of technology is essential, and experience of working with digital analytics tools to be able to provide relevant insights on products / usage etc, to support data driven decisions would be beneficial.
