Production Controller

Are you a publishing production professional with an interest in architecture?

Our client, a charity and membership body seeks a Production Controller to join their team in Central London. You will be reporting to the Design and Production Manager and work closely with the content teams to oversee typescripts through to publication in print and digital. This role will be responsible for managing the whole production process from generating initial costs and advising on new product development by closely working with commissioning colleagues, project managing the handover of manuscripts, editing, production, through to finished copy delivery. Candidates will need a thorough knowledge of the complete print and publishing production process, proven in-house production experience of working on a range of mono and colour titles and an excellent understanding of 4-colour pre-press and electronic workflow. You will have exceptional organisation, planning and prioritisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines and targets. You will take a positive, proactive, flexible approach to your work and be able to support and engage the team your working with.
