Production Controller

Are you a great at problem-solving and multi-tasking, and you're now thinking of a career in publishing? Our client, a fast-growing popular children's publisher based in green Northamptonshire, is looking for a Production Controller to oversee the production schedule of their books.

Working across a portfolio that includes sounds, novelty, licensed, and activity and sticker books, you will be responsible for managing production process and coordinating with international suppliers and distributors.

Key functions:

·Oversee titles from production concept to delivery
·Ensure all files and plotters meet quality standards, and that files are ready fro publication
·Negotiate print schedules with stakeholders, suppliers, external collaborators and buyers
·Manage the publisher's database to keep track of production processes

A key part of the role will be to liaise with international printers and other suppliers across Europe and Asia, and great communication skills are very important.
