Do you love working with children's books and are ready to take the next step in your Production career?
We have an amazing Production Controller opportunity to join the team of a world renowned trade publisher based in central London, and work on the Children's titles working across highly illustrated and novelty books.
The role will focus on the production across a diverse range of global books of both trade and special sales titles.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Overseeing production stages for your assigned list, including costing and scheduling, and delivery
- Contribute to the product development of your assigned titles
- Controlling the quality of the final products
- Liaising with internal as well external contacts including suppliers and printers to ensure schedules and costings are being respected
The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills as well as a strong eye for detail. Strong communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production Assistant with a solid understanding of full-colour and co-edition printing processes to work in a commercial and driven environment. Previous experience with novelty books would be a strong advantage, but is not essential, as training will be provided.
