Production Controller - Custom Sales

Are you a great Production candidate looking to take on a new challenge as a Production Controller role?

Our client, a world renowned trade publisher based in central London, is looking for a Production Controller to work on custom titles across highly illustrated adult and children's books. The role will focus on the production and delivery of global books for special sales and custom publishing markets.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Overseeing production stages for your assigned list, including sourcing components, planning costing and scheduling
• Organising the safety testing and quality control of the final products
• Liaising with internal as well external contacts including suppliers and printers to ensure schedules and costings are being respected
• Working with other teams (Sales, Editorial Design) to re-package titles for custom publishing solutions

The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills as well as a strong eye for detail. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production professional with a solid understanding of formats and packaging solutions and full-colour printing to work in a commercial and driven environment.
