Production Controller - Trade Books

We are looking for an experienced Production Controller to be responsible for all aspects of the production process, from concept through to delivery for a number of well-known and highly respected brands. You will be responsible for costing, scheduling, quality control, and liaising with external suppliers, where you will use your fantastic negotiating skills.  This is a great role if you are passionate about production and looking to work in a busy, thriving and successful publishing organisation.

The successful person will have demonstrable book production experience, and able to demonstrate a sharp eye for detail, superb communication and organisational skills with the ability to negotiate costs for your title. You will have the ability to think creatively, work well within a team as well as independently to tight deadlines and able to prioritise your work. You will have a good understanding of the production process and strong IT skills.
