Production Controller (Trade books)

Are you a Production Controller who has worked on colour and mono books? Do you have experience working pre flighting and tackling printer issues?  Our client is based in central London, you will be working with a friendly busy team, and it is a great opportunity to work on some renowned entertainment titles.

Key duties:

• Prepare titles for both print and digital editions
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure print quality is to standard
• Manage production process and deliver printed products on time and to budget
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all personnel
• Work closely with in-house Editorial and Design teams

Experience / skills required:

• Solid colour and mono book production experience on both hardback and paperback titles
• Understanding and awareness of special finishes
• Excellent communicator and maintain good relationship with clients, suppliers and customers
• Proven knowledge of all aspects of the production process is essential
• Good IT skills, with knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Suite
