Production Controllers x 2

Do you have some 4-colour book production experience? Are you keen to develop your production skills working on exciting children’s books? We are looking for 2 Production Controllers to join a friendly and growing team in newly created roles. If you are a Production Assistant or Production Controller with the will to learn and develop, then this might be a perfect opportunity for you!

What you'll be doing:

• Manage a mix of frontlist and backlist titles including picture books, board books and novelty titles
• Oversee production process from receipt of files through to delivery
• Work with suppliers in the Far East and negotiate prices to ensure budget is met
• Prepare files for print, coordinating schedules and managing co-edition print runs

What you'll have:

• Some experience in a 4-colour book production role in publishing, ideally within children’s books but this is not essential
• Excellent organisation skills with a keen eye for detail and good time-management
• Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with stakeholders at different levels
• Can-do and flexible attitude, with the ability to work in a small team
