Production & Editorial Executive

Do you have around a year's experience working in a production and editorial environment? Are you looking for an interesting and more demanding role, leading on the production of print and digital content? A highly successful publisher of career and educational guides is looking to recruit a switched on editorial production individual to work on a range of high quality products and see them through the production editorial process.

This role will be responsible for the company’s range of print and digital content, including printed guides, for the higher education arena, a trade magazine and their online content. The successful candidate will also attend industry events when required.

Key responsibilities of the role will involve:

• Plan, commission and copyedit content
• Use InDesign to produce publications
• Liaising with advertisers to collect  copy
• Managing the print process
• Collecting and laying out advertising copy
• Producing any additional print materials when required
• Managing all online content, supporting web development
• Producing online elements using Photoshop
• Assisting in the production of e-communications
• Using social media to promote content and engage with audiences

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1yr+ proven InDesign and Photoshop experience
• Experience within a production/editorial environment
• Degree level education
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Keen eye for detail
• Experience using MS Office
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
