Production Editor

Are you looking to use your editorial production experience in a new role?

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a world leading academic publisher in central London on the production of a number of journals and online projects. This is a 12-month contract.

This role will include:

• • Ensuring that the journals are produced to schedule and to the standard high level of quality
  • Managing good professional relationships with academic authors and editors
  • Appraise work done by third-parties, for example with freelance copyeditors and proofreaders
  • Providing support to academic editors, board members and other contributors

The successful candidate will have experience with typesetting, design and online publication. You will be adept at using Word, Adobe and Microsoft environment, and experience in editorial production work within publishing.
