Production Editor

We have a new exciting opportunity for a Production Editor to join an STM publisher in London. If you have some experience as a Production Editor and can use InDesign, get in touch! This is a permanent full-time role offering good benefits and flexible office/home-working.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee the production of a UK journal from submission to online publication
  • Manage new submissions, peer review, manuscripts acceptance, proofs, etc.
  • Liaise with editors and authors regarding issues related to ethics, figure manipulation, plagiarism and pre-published papers
  • Ensure adherence to the organisation’s working methods, procedures and systems

What you’ll have:

  • Production Editorial experience within academic publishing is required
  • Knowledge of InDesign and Mac OS
  • Great communication and project management skills, with the ability to multitask
  • Adaptable, problem-solving and driven approach to work
