Production Manager

A leading professional organisation and membership body in London is looking for a Production Manager to join the Editorial Content Team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and target-driven content solutions/supplier management professional with an established publisher.

Key duties:

• Manage all pre-press and production supplier engagement activities
• Facilitate discussions supporting cost, quality, timeliness and delivery
• Manage a Production team in an XML publishing environment
• Increase the level of financial accountability supporting supplier engagement
• Act as the first point of escalation for any internal or external issues involving a Production matter
• Demonstrate leadership qualities of team and personal development and industry knowledge

Experience / skills required:

• High quality customer service approach
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and implementation of industry best practices
• Proven experience working in and leading n XML publishing environment
• Solid experienced in evaluating continuous process improvement
