Production Manager

Our client, a respected trade publisher in Oxford is looking for a Production Manager to work on their adult list, predominantly on colour books.

This role will be responsible for managing the production workflow from prepress to manufacture, to schedule and budget. Working closely with other departments along with line managing production controllers and working with external suppliers, on shore and offshore.

The requirements for this role include managerial experience, colour book production experience, print buying, understanding of XML based workflows, and the full adobe creative suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop). The candidate would also be able to work well as part of a team, remaining calm under pressure with great attention to detail.
