Professional Development Manager

A leader in educational publishing with digital programs across all school subject areas, and levels, is seeking a Professional Development expert to join their Professional Development team on an initial 6 month contract (likely to be extended). You will play a key role in the creation, development and roll-out of new online courses for Teachers across the globe - this role offers an excellent salary and great flexibility, and can be conducted on a full time or part time basis, and either remotely or from the company's London office - whatever working pattern suits you best!

As Professional Development expert, you will have solid experience of writing professional development programs, ideally for the education sector, or a related industry. Good insight into the UK curricula taught internationally would be a benefit but by no means a must. Excellent writing and communication skills are key, and an understanding of teacher needs and andragogy would be really helpful. This role is an initial 6 month contract with a view to be extended / made permanent, and can be conducted either on a full time or part time (min 3 days / week) basis. Science subject knowledge would be useful, and or/experience of K-12 or Secondary education, but not essential.
