Programme Manager
We are looking for an editorial Programme Manager with excellent experience of delivering publishing programmes to join a scientific and technical organisation in East Anglia. Based an easy commute from London Kings Cross or Cambridge, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership for a portfolio of regulatory and guidance publications.
Key duties:
- Oversee the publishing programme for a portfolio of regulations and guidance material
- Work closely with committees and expert contributors to acquire content
- Prepare content and arrange for proof-reading, printing and distribution of draft materials
- Manage schedules, budgets and authors to ensure book is produced on time and to budget
- Project manage the delivery of new projects as required
Experience / skills required:
- Proven experience of delivering publishing programmes in line with targets
- Commissioning and editorial management experience, ideally in STM or professional compliance publishing
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building abilities
- Experience of working with high profile expert authors and contributors
- Ability to manage and deliver publishing projects on schedule and to budget
