Project Coordinator (Children’s Publishing)

An exciting opportunity  join a book publisher as Project and Brand Executive you will play a vital role in driving the business forward to ensure that the children’s division is run as smoothly as possible through effective planning and delivering of strategic documentation. This is a temp role to start 4 October for 4 weeks with possible extensions.
 

Key duties:

  • Facilitate key operational meetings and manage creative, operational and strategic brand projects within the division
  • Proactive high-level support to the MD with strategy and creative presentations which will be connected to the project
  • Organise all collateral (reports, presentations, agendas, etc) as well as room bookings, IT support and meeting invites necessary for the focus group meetings
  • Compile and distribute approved minutes with action points clearly assigned and with a deadline date
  • Support the agenda planning for the  company Awayday
  • Organise the yearly Shared Goals document by co-ordinating and collating all departmental goals
  • Attend the monthly key titles, launches and acquisitions  meeting and capture key operational learnings to further develop strategy

    

Experience / skills required:

  • Strong project management skills and ability to build solid relationships. 
  • You will have the ability to manage a heavy workload and conflicting priorities, as well as tracking progress on a wide range of tasks
  • Able to anticipate potential issues and work calmly and effectively to overcome problems
  • An eye for design and confidence in designing presentations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software is essential particularly Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook and an understanding of Adoble Creative Suite
