Project Editor

Are you a well-organised publishing professional with strong editorial and project management skills? Our client, a London independent publisher of highly illustrated non-fiction books, are looking to appoint a creative and passionate Project Editor to manage a wide portfolio of titles.

Key responsibilities:

• Overseeing the editorial workflow of a wide range of non-fiction titles across different subjects and formats, from manuscript submission through to delivery of print-ready files
• Working closely with internal and external collaborators, including freelancers, designers, editors, indexers, and Sales and Marketing teams
• Writing copies for jackets and sales materials
• Inputting metadata information on the system

Reporting to the Editorial Director, you will be able to work across multiple projects and have a meticulous eye for detail. The ideal candidate will remain unflappable under pressure and confident in their editorial and project management abilities.
