Project Editor - Illustrated Books

This is an unmissable creative editorial role for someone with experience in illustrated non-fiction and a real passion for film, TV and video games! Our client a leading London publisher of graphic novels, popular entertainment and fiction titles are looking for a Project Editor to join their illustrated non-fiction books department. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for genre and licensed publishing.

This role will be responsible for project managing highly licensed titles and will include:
·Being key point of contact for licensors
·Research, trend-spotting and idea-generation
·Scheduling management
·Managing budgets and quality control
·Proofreading and copyediting
·Presenting and pitching in new projects

The ideal candidate will already have experience working in illustrated non-fiction publishing in an editorial capacity. You will have experience working with licensed products and have excellent attention to detail as well as the ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work under pressure. You must have outstanding written and communication skills and be highly competent in InDesign, Word and Excel.
