Project Editor - X2 - Travel

Would you like to work for a highly successful, global publisher?  We have two super new roles with a leading publisher of illustrated guidebooks to work as Project Editors.  These roles are being offered initially on a 6 month and 12 month contract basis.  Based in London these roles will work in a busy team and will liaise with authors, and contributors overseeing titles from concept to through to final product.

As the Project Editor within the team, reporting to the Managing Editor, your role will include working on a range of projects in the travel team, where you will assume responsibility for planning books/series, working with internal and external editors,, authors and designers, project managing travel titles, both print and digital products for global trade markets and custom and specials clients and developing new ideas for presentation.

These are fabulous opportunities to be part of a successful, global publishing organisation and the ideal candidates will have proven experience working in illustrated, integrated books with a strong understanding of the editorial process. You will have experience of project-managing a busy list, working to tight deadlines and budgets.  You will be confident working with InDesign, using your initiative and have a creative approach to your work.
