Project Portfolio Manager and Communications
Are you a seasoned project manager seeking an exciting new opportunity? We have an exceptional opening with our client, a non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing global financial reporting standards. They are currently searching for a Project Portfolio Manager specialising in External Affairs and Communications on a 18 month FTC . This role entails the oversight of project portfolios, internal stakeholder communication, and issue resolution. The manager will be responsible for aligning project portfolios with the organisation's objectives, ensuring proper project selection, and providing governance. Furthermore, they will take charge of significant projects such as brand surveys, annual reports, and global stakeholder events, all while mentoring team members in effective project management.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on a global scale with key stakeholders to establish and manage workstreams for a portfolio of projects.
- Ensure the seamless execution of projects within the team's portfolio by creating workstreams for each project.
- Improve internal and external communication processes to facilitate efficient project delivery.
- Lead internal stakeholder management, communications, and reporting for each project.
- Assist members of the EA/Comms team in developing 3-5 year strategic plans for various focus areas.
- Establish an EA & Comms project portfolio, selecting projects aligned with strategic goals.
The Project Portfolio Manager is expected to have direct project delivery experience in the fields of Communications or Marketing, expertise in procurement, proficiency in third-party management, and a strong background in portfolio management.
