Projects Coordinator

A leading academic publisher in central London is looking for a Projects Coordinator who is a problem-solver and enjoyed a varied workload to join their busy Production Technology Development team.  You will look after content management, troubleshooting, process efficiencies and requirements gathering for development in support of digital publishing.

Key duties:

  • Support the Production roadmap process to ensure delivery of enhancements
  • Handle tasks including rights queries, process changes and documentation
  • Work with the Systems & Workflow Analyst to improve and develop processes for existing and new products
  • Administer the purchase order & invoicing process to ensure timely payment to vendors
  • Coordinate non-roadmap projects within the team to maximise visibility
  • Increase understanding within internal departments and reduce queries

Experience / skills required:

  • Experience with XML will be highly advantageous
  • Solid IT proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication skills in a professional manner
  • Natural problem solvers and a self-directed characteristic
  • Ability to check data with good attention to detail
