Publications and Content Editor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Publications and Content Editor to join an exciting high-growth educational publishing business in Newton Abbot, Devon.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

- Writing, editing and proof reading resources, including training manuals, booklets, presentation slides and handouts.

- Creating e-learning content.

- Laying out and formatting text and images for printed and online resources, using a range of software programmes such as Word, PowerPoint, Sway, Adobe InDesign and Totara.

- Meeting publication deadlines.

- Collaborating with trainers to develop content for online and printed resources.

- Liaising with external editors, designers, animators and film makers to produce printed and online multimedia resources.

The ideal candidate will have solid editorial experience and be familiar using Adobe InDesign and software such as, Articulate 360. Previous experience of editing and proofreading, as well as creating e-learning content is essential. Organisation is key to this role, and the successful candidate will be confident managing collaborators, and building internal and external relationships to ensure deadlines are met.
