Publications Officer

Our client is a leading independent consultancy firm who curate research-led reports for their clients driven by employment data. They hold a huge volume of information and data and are looking to hire a Publications Officer to publicise the firm's work, and expand their reach through new publications and innovative research projects.

Research is at the heart of this business, and the Publications Officer will have access to all the same training as their Research Analysts, getting to know the business and how they work. As Publications Officer, you will join the business with some publishing expertise, to help the senior management team to create high-quality publications which will diversify their portfolio, and increase their reach.

With a background in publishing, we are open to level of experience - ideally looking for a candidate with experience in creating publications across print and digital formats, and an understanding of the workflow around publication creation. At this level, there will be an expectation to come in with ideas, but to work with the senior team to identify platforms for publications, and over time, create a network and a community where these publications can grow. Excellent communication skills, a superb eye for detail and the ability to work on your own initiative is essential as well as an interest in working for a research led organisation.
