Publicist Childrens Trade Books (London)

Our client, a leading London based trade childrens book publisher seeks an experienced person to join as Publicist. Perhaps you are currently at publicity executive level at a publisher and are now looking for your next role in publicity.

 You'll need 3 years experience working in book publishing publicity or related publicity sector. 

This is a broad role, and as Publicist you’ll be managing high-level campaigns, including planning and presenting and implementing your own book campaigns, managing budgets that can deliver the right publicity exposure for the publishers range of books, authors, brands and characters within its imprints.

As Publicist, you’ll be responsible for looking after the publisher’s reputation both internally and externally and supporting the PR Director in implementing the strategy.

Part of the role includes drafting press-releases, media briefings, generating reviews and publicity for the books, authors, brands and characters. Including author care and pitching authors at events and festivals.

We are looking for a motivated and natural PR professional with excellent communication skills and able to work collaboratively with your colleagues at every level, including marketing, sales and editorial teams.

You’ll be based in London and salary is up to £27K plus Company benefits.
