Publicist/Publicity Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Publicist/Publicity Manager to join one of the world’s leading and fastest growing publishers of popular and mass market books. You will need to be a forward-thinking publicist with a passion for commercial fiction.

The successful candidate will work closely with the sales and marketing team and will drive publicity across the full breadth of the lists, implementing title, series and imprint campaigns.

You will look for creative ways to let the company place their titles into the hands of readers, reviewers and influencers, expanding regional, national and international visibility.

Responsibilities include:

● Devising and implementing campaigns in traditional and new media on front list publications

● Build and maintain great relationships with a growing list of authors

● Producing press releases, pitches, and any extra creative materials

● Overseeing submissions and nominations for awards, festival slots, and other events

● Managing relationships with external partners

Digitally and socially engaged with demonstrable experience of producing effective commercial fiction campaigns, you will have enthusiasm, passion and a broad range of contacts.

London based, this role can be a mix of office (when needed) and remote working. Applications from experienced Publicity Executives or Press Officers will also be considered.
