Publicity & Campaigns Officer

We are looking for a Publicity and Campaigns Officer to join the largest independent publishing house in Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their marketing career to work on frontlist campaigns across a diverse range of trade book titles.

Key duties:

• Work with the Head of Publishing to prioritise individual titles and create campaigns
• Plan and devise customer focused strategies targeting particular readerships
• Work closely with the authors and editors from the early stages of development
• Create individual bespoke campaigns from concept to delivery
• Launch new titles in innovative ways which attract the maximum publicity possible
• Co-ordinate a variety of marketing projects from different genres simultaneously
• Create content for digital media and distribute press releases
• Other duties to support the Marketing team as required

Experience / skills required:

• Previous marketing experience is essential
• Experience in the publishing industry is desired but not essential
• You will have a customer focused attitude paired with commercial awareness
• A keen eye for detail and a flexible approach to work is required
• Fluency (both written and spoken) in Welsh is essential for this role
• The ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential
