We have an amazing opportunity for a Publicity Manager who is looking for their next challenge within the world of nonfiction books. This is an exciting time for our client who is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and commercially-driven individual who wants to grow with the company.
The Publicity Manager is a crucial role within the business and will be responsible for running individual book campaigns, liaising and working closely with freelance publicists, and playing a key role in maintaining and building our client's reputation within the media along with devising campaign plans surrounding the acquisition of new books.
The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience managing book PR campaigns, as well as an excellent range of media contacts. This role will also involve working closely with journalists, authors and their agents and external freelancers. Excellent communication, internally and externally, is essential.
The successful candidate will ensure that publicity plans are well-communicated to all relevant people, and are aligned with marketing and sales. They will feel at home with a wide range of narrative nonfiction, though experience in fiction publishing and other areas is a bonus too. Working knowledge of Biblio, would be beneficial along with being adaptable in learning new systems and ways of working.
This is a position with huge potential to work with fantastic authors and colleagues at a time of expansion.
