Publisher (Children's Books)

Our client, a leading international London based book publishing house has a unique career opportunity for an experienced Publisher to lead their Children’s trade books division.

Your role as Publisher will be to oversee a growing division of highly successful quality children's imprints with full commercial responsibility for directing and shaping renowned lists.

This is a senior publishing role which would suit an ambitious and highly motivated individual with the drive to make this role their own and to build on the company’s successes by taking them into new and lucrative areas. 

You'll drive strategy and oversee the creation of new products for both home and international markets, and you’ll oversee an enthusiastic, dedicated creative team of editorial directors.

The successful candidate will need to have team leadership experience, an excellent track record in creatively acquiring and producing Children’s books and the skillset to take full P&L responsibility for a leading children’s publisher.

A very competitive salary is on offer, which will of course depend on the experience you bring to the role.
