Publisher Relations Manager

A leading educational technology company and distributor of online textbooks has an opening for a Publisher Relations Manager to join their office in Buckinghamshire. You will develop relationships with publishers and institutional customers to ensure their needs are met and solutions are delivered that best meet their needs. Up to 25% of your time will be spent travelling

Key duties:

• Act as the central point of contact for customers and communicate their needs to internal stakeholders
• Work across different departments and identify processes which need to be changed or developed in order to best meet customer needs
• Identify potential sales leads and pass on to the sales teams
• Work with publishers to ensure their content is optimised for full functionality online
• Provide customer training on systems and tools and highlight new and upcoming features

Experience / skills required:

• Proven account management experience, ideally in a publishing or an educational setting
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience providing virtual training
• Knowledge of academic or digital publishing is a big plus
