Publishing Assistant

Are you interested in Open Access? Can you multitask and work to deadlines? Is numeracy one of your strengths? We are looking for a Publishing Assistant to join the quickly growing open access division of a London-based academic publisher.

Key duties:

Handle author queries in a timely and professional manner

Track articles through processes

Coordinate and organise meetings, taking minutes

Collate and analyse journal performance data

Provide general admin support to ensure smooth running of department

Gather data, research and analysis re to industry trends

 

Experience / skills required:

Some office admin experience is required

Excellent numeracy and accuracy, with a keen eye for detail

Solid organisation, with the ability to follow instructions and processes

Great communication, both written and verbal

Proficient IT skills, including MS Office and Excel

Self-motivated with a will to learn and improve
