Publishing Assistant

We are so excited to be working on a Publishing Assistant role for the fast-growing OA team of an established international academic publisher. This role will play an important role in the development of Open Access journals, and could be the perfect next step in your publishing career!

This role will support the OA Operations Manager and will be responsible for:

• Supporting authors with their queries around OA publishing and payment
• Tracking articles through the company's online system
• Organising team meetings, taking minutes and coordinating follow up action points
• Analysing journals performance to inform business decisions
• Coordinating special projects and administration for assigned journals
• Providing support to the OA Operations Manager and wider OA team

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a good understanding and interest of Open Access and excellent administration skills, as well as bringing a positive and proactive attitude to the team.
