Publishing Data Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Publishing Data Manager to join an award-winning independent publisher of business and management titles for the professional and academic market, based in central London. This role would be ideal for someone with excellent excel skills and database experience.

Key duties:

• Coordinate and maintain editorial workflow processes and metadata requirements
• Oversee publishing system data, ensuring relevant information is correctly maintained throughout publishing process
• Work closely and build relationships with editorial team and other internal departments to ensure smooth passage of information and data flow throughout the company
• Prepare publishing contracts in liaison with commissioning editor
• Ensure relevant author documentation is maintained and processed efficiently, including communication with authors as necessary

Experience / skills required:

• Solid database and information system experience
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good admistrative and project management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience using BiblioLIVE would be beneficial
