Publishing Development Manager

A leading scientific society based in Bristol is looking for an innovative Publishing Development Manager to join their team to work closely with other departments within the business to identify, research and launch Open Access journals with a sound knowledge of scheduling and budgeting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a small team of publishers to deliver new products, as well as maintain existing products in line with strategies and business plans. Keeping up with latest trends and developments in scientific publishing landscape will be a must, as is experience with negotiating publishing contracts and launching new journals.

If you have experience in the medical/life sciences sector, and have a thorough all-round knowledge of market research techniques and the analysis of data, this could be a great role for you!
