An award winning trade publisher is looking to recruit a Publishing Director for their new and exciting non-fiction imprint covering History, Heritage, Current Affairs and Popular Culture. Reporting to the Publisher of Trade, this role will suit candidates with non-fiction experience and passion and drive to achieve outstanding results and growth.
The newly appointed Publishing Director will expand the company's non-fiction list, creating new opportunities to scout new writers across all non-fiction genres.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated knowledge of the market and bring new ideas for growth
- Extensive editorial experience working in non-fiction
- Talent to identify market trends and publishing opportunities
- Managerial experience, overseeing a small team and helping develop and grow
